- Local rates are applicable to businesses/people within San Marcos city limits.
- $20 per hour fee for rentals before 8 a.m./ after 8 p.m.
- The Wet Classroom will be included in pool party reservations, such as birthdays.
- Hourly rates are based on a group size of up to 25 participants. Larger groups may require additional lifeguard staffing fees.
- Pool rentals that impact normal open swim hours may be charged an additional fee.
Pool Rental Policies & Procedures
Below are additional regulations, restrictions, and responsibilities for individuals and organizations as outlined by the Department of Campus Recreation.

Reservation and Setup
- Rentals for the SRC Natatorium (Pool) require a minimum of 2 hours.
- Renters must factor in a minimum of 15 minutes for both set up and tear down.
- Participants may not be in the water or on deck during setup or cleanup.
- All reserved spaces must be cleared completely within 15 minutes after the event's end.

Responsibilities of Reservation Holder
- All minors must have a signed Risk Release and Indemnity Waiver before participation.
- Parents/guardians must stay within arm’s reach of non-swimming children.
- Food and drinks are confined to the Wet Classroom, apart from water.
- Plastic and stainless-steel bottles are permitted on deck.
- Glass containers or aluminum cans are NOT permitted on deck.

Cancellation, Refunds, Rescheduling
- Cancellations or rescheduling made more than ten (10) days before the reservation date receive a full refund, less a $20.00 processing fee.
- Cancellations within ten (10) days forfeit all payment. Rescheduling within ten (10) days is not guaranteed.

Reservation Payment Policy
- Payment is due one week prior to the event, unless paying by IDT (Inter-Departmental Transfer).
- Payments can be made at the Student Recreation Center front desk by check, credit card, or cash.
- Checks must be paid out to Texas State University – Campus Recreation
- Failure to make payment within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiture of the reservation.

Prohibited Items & Actions
- Gum chewing, spitting, and profanity are not allowed.
- No equipment or items blocking emergency exits.
- Confetti, glitter, adhesives, and duct tape are prohibited for decorations.
- Non-Coast Guard-approved life jackets are not allowed.

Additional Policies
- Personal articles must be kept in the Wet Classroom.
- Users may not bring their own lifeguards.
- Rental of the SRC Natatorium does not grant access to other areas of SRC.
- The Department of Campus Recreation is not liable for charges or injuries incurred by the reserving group.
- Groups must abide by Texas State Parking Rules; individuals are responsible for any parking tickets.

- Failure to adhere to any policies or procedures may forfeit the ability to utilize Campus Recreation facilities in the future
